For more than a month, activists in northwest Pakistan have been preventing any Afghan-bound NATO supplies from crossing through Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa Province. The blockade was imposed by the local ruling party with the goal of pressuring the United States to stop its drone strikes on Pakistani targets.
