A British government minister said he was "proud" of his government's record of evacuating Afghans who worked with the British Army as interpreters, following criticism from a former army commander. Graham Stuart, who is minister for Europe, spoke to RFE/RL's Ray Furlong in Prague on September 1. He was responding to remarks made last month by John McColl, who served as the first head of NATO's International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan.
