Three Turks Killed In Afghan Suicide Bombing

A suicide bomber has killed three Turkish engineers in Afghanistan's eastern Nangharhar Province.

Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar Province, said on June 2 that a bomber on a motorcycle targeted a minibus taking the employees of a Turkish construction company to their worksite in Behsud district.

A fourth Turkish engineer was wounded in the blast.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Officials at the Turkish Embassy in Kabul could not immediately be reached for comment.
