Emergency medical workers carried wounded victims out of the offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on January 7 after gunmen attacked the site, killing at least 12 people and injuring another 10. The attack was the second in recent years on the magazine, which gained notoriety in 2006 for publishing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. (Reuters)
