Afghan authorities say at least three people were killed and nine others injured in two separate attacks on October 13.

Deputy Interior Minister Ayub Salangi said a suicide bomber targeted a NATO convoy in Kabul, killing one civilian and injuring three others.

NATO said one of its vehicles was attacked in Kabul, adding there were no immediate reports of any casualties among members of the military coalition.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement that two civilians were killed and six others wounded in a suicide bombing in the eastern province of Nangarhar.

The attack took place next to a hospital in Shinwar district, the statement said.

The Defense Ministry said an Afghan army officer was wounded and two army vehicles were damaged in the bombing.
