A Pakistani lawmaker has died a day after being shot.
Local media say Tahira Asif died in hospital in Lahore on June 19.
She had been wounded a day earlier after being shot by two assailants while apparently resisting a robery attempt.
Asif was a member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The head of MQM, Altaf Hussain, said Asif's death had been politically motivated, and accused police of trying to portray it as a mugging attempt.
