In Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, lovers exchanged flowers and candy to celebrate Valentine’s Day. In the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, however, the day was subdued after a court banned the day’s celebration across the country on February 13. The ban coincided with some small protests against Valentine’s Day in cities across Pakistan.
