The Pakistani city of Quetta was in mourning to commemorate the victims of a militant attack on a local police academy.
Businesses and offices across the city were shuttered on October 26 as funerals got under way for some of the 61 cadets -- most of them in their 20s -- who were killed in the attack on the night of October 24-25.
Some 123 people were injured in the assault by Islamic State militants.
Some offices in other cities across Pakistan were also closed in a sign of solidarity and flags were flying at half-staff.
The police academy attack has revived painful memories of a December 2014 attack on an army school in Peshawar that left more than 150 dead.
