Fourteen suspected militants have reportedly been killed in separate strikes by U.S. and Pakistani forces in the North Waziristan tribal area bordering Afghanistan.
According to Pakistani intelligence officials, a suspected U.S. drone strike killed four militants in the Shawai area late on June 1.
The militants were reportedly traveling from a militant hideout toward the border when their vehicle was struck.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's army said military jets targeted militant hideouts in the Datta Khel area, killing 10 militants, including foreign fighters.
A large cache of arms and ammunition was also reportedly destroyed.
Pakistan launched a major military operation a year ago in North Waziristan, a longtime haven for the Taliban and other militants.
