A bomb fashioned out of flowerpots exploded outside a police station in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar on April 24, wounding six policemen and three other people.
Authorities said the improvised explosive device (IED) went off under a bridge in front of the Gulbahar district police station.
Two policemen were in critical condition.
Police officials said there was construction work taking place in front of the police station.
The IED, made of two kilograms of explosives hidden in flowerpots, exploded just as a police van carrying members of the Emergency Response Squad parked underneath the bridge.
Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack. More than 50,000, civilians, soldiers and militants have been killed in Taliban attacks and military operations against the insurgents since 2004.
