Pakistan Roadside Bomb Kills Three Soldiers

At least three Pakistani soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb on March 5 in the country's troubled northwest.

Reports say a remote-controlled device struck a convoy of the paramilitary Frontier Corps as it was traveling from the town of Hangu to Kurram district, one of seven tribal areas along the Afghan border where militants have strongholds.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which also wounded around 11 others, some seriously.

It's the latest violence to hit the country since a cease-fire between the government and Taliban insurgents began as part of efforts to restart stalled peace talks.

On Monday, gunmen burst into a court in Islamabad, killing at least 11 people. A previously unknown group calling itself Ahrar-ul-Hind claimed responsibility for the court attack.
