Officials in southwestern Pakistan say at least 10 people have been killed and more than 30 wounded in an explosion near a passenger bus.
The blast occurred in Quetta on the heavily congested Jinnah Road.
Quetta police chief Abdul Razzaq Cheema said it appeared a vehicle carrying security forces was the target.
Cheema said the bomb was planted in a rickshaw and exploded as the bus drove by.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Quetta is the capital of Balochistan Province, where violence has become commonplace.
Terrorist groups, separatists, and criminal groups have plagued the area, which borders Afghanistan and Iran, for years.
