Richardson’s winning image, which was never published, depicts a migrant passing a baby underneath a razor-wire fence on the Hungary/Serbia border. As well as other images of the migrant crisis, highlights selected here include a whale and her calf sharing the sea with divers, an ominous storm bearing down on Sydney, and a highly symbolic face-off on the streets of Chicago.
