A suicide attack has targeted the vehicle of a deputy commander of police in the northwestern city of Peshawar, killing two people and wounding six others.
The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred in Peshawar's Hayatabad suburb on June 11.
Police said the deputy commandant of the Frontier Reserve Police, Tariq Malik, was among those wounded in the explosion.
The Pakistani Taliban have spent more than a decade fighting to overthrow the Pakistani government and replace it with a hard-line Islamic state.
