Taliban Claims Responsibility For Two Pakistan Attacks

One soldier has been killed and three injured in a bomb blast in Quetta, Pakistan.

The explosion occurred at a checkpoint in the afternoon of December 12, officials said.

In a separate incident in Karachi, a retired army officer was shot dead when two men on a motorcycle opened fire on him in a residential district.

A spokesman for the Taliban claimed responsibility for both attacks in an email received by Radio Mashaal.
