Seven members of a family in Pakistan's northwest have been shot dead by unidentified gunmen.
Police officials told RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal on April 25 that the incident happened in Swabi district, north of Peshawar.
Police said the dead included two brothers, a sister, her 9-year-old son, and three cousins.
Five other members of the family were injured and are being treated in hospital.
The chief minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province has ordered an inquiry into the killing.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the killings.
