Return To Mosul: Digging Out From The Ruins

Residents are slowly returning to what is left of the Iraqi city of Mosul to dig out their homes with their own hands. Iraqi troops, backed by a U.S.-led coalition, regained control of the city in July after a bloody eight-month battle, driving out Islamic State militants, who had taken over in 2014.
