Three soldiers from Pakistan's Frontier Corps and six militants have been killed during separate incidents in Pakistan's volatile Balochistan Province.
Pakistani military officials said a bomb that exploded on March 1 in the Sorab area of Quetta, the provincial capital, killed at least three paramilitary guards and wounded six.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility for that attack.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan's resource-rich district of Dera Bugti, at least six militants were killed in a gunbattle against security forces.
Police says they are working to identify the slain militants.
