At Least 10 Dead In Pakistan Blast

Victims arrive at a hospital in Multan on September 13.

At least 10 people have been killed and more than 40 injured in a blast in the central Pakistani city of Multan.

Officials said several of the wounded from the explosion at a bus terminal late on September 13 were in critical condition.

Police said the explosion occurred when a motorcycle hit a motorized rickshaw, causing a large fire.

It was initially reported that the explosion happened due to a blast in a gas cylinder fitted in the rickshaw that was destroyed.

But police now believe one of the vehicles was carrying explosives.

Ball bearings were recovered from the site of the blast.
