Candidate Of Pakistani Political Party Killed In Suicide Attack

A Pakistani candidate from the party of prime ministerial hopeful and former cricket star Imran Khan was killed on June 22 in a suicide attack claimed by the Pakistani Taliban that wounded four others, a police official said. The attack came just days ahead of June 25 general elections. A police video of the immediate aftermath of the bombing shows a dust-filled street in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, the damaged vehicle of Ikramullah Gandapur of the Pakistan Tehrik-e Insaf (PTI) party, and a security vehicle.
