Peshawar Shuts Down To Honor Victims Of Taliban Attack

Shops and public buildings were closed in Peshawar on December 17, as three days of official mourning began to honor the victims of the Taliban attack on a school the previous day in which 141 people were killed. Traffic in the usually congested city was thin. An anti-Taliban protest was also held. (RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal)
