Saffron Business Blooms In Afghanistan

Saffron is the world's most expensive spice -- and it promises to be a lucrative crop for thousands of Afghans. The government in Kabul is actively supporting a growing saffron industry, offering start-up assistance to farmers trying to get out of the opium poppy business and women in need of a source of income.
