Tajikistan Plunged Into Darkness

The Tajik capital, Dushanbe, was plunged into darkness by a power failure. The company that operates the Nurek hydroelectric dam said there was an outage at the facility, which provides up to three-quarters of the country's power. (RFE/RL's Tajik Service)
