Afghan Lawmakers Brawl As New Speaker Tries To Take Seat
Chaos erupted in Afghanistan's lower house of parliament when a group of lawmakers tried to block Mir Rahman Rahmani from taking the speaker's seat following a disputed vote. Video from June 19 showed lawmakers flipping the speaker's desk and smashing the chair to stop him from taking up the post.

Doctor Blamed For HIV Outbreak In Pakistan
Hundreds of people in a Pakistani village have allegedly been infected with HIV by a doctor using contaminated syringes. Officials say over 400 people, many of them children, have tested positive. Experts are blaming unsanitary equipment and malpractice for a surge in infection rates in the country.
