Thousands of people have marched through the Afghan capital for a second straight day demanding those responsible for beating a 27-year-old woman to death in public be apprehended and punished.
Organizers of the March 24 protest estimated some 3,000 people took part.
Men and women carrying with images of the bloodied face of Farkhunda, the victim of the March 19 attack, chanted "Justice for Farkhunda!" and "Death to the killers!" as they made their way to the Supreme Court building in Kabul.
A local cleric had accused Farkhunda of burning a Koran.
A crowd dragged her to a square and beat her to death while hundreds of people stood and watched, the mob then lit her body on fire and dumped it into the Kabul River.
Interior Minister Noorulhaq Ulumi told parliament on March 23 "Farkhunda was a religious girl, she was not involved [in burning the Koran], she was innocent."
At least 18 people have been arrested so far and more than a dozen policemen have been suspended in connection with the killing.
