Rohani Says Iran Will Remain Committed To Nuclear Deal As Long As Interests Served

Iran will remain committed to the multinational nuclear deal -- the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA) -- as long as it serves the country's national interests, Iranian President Hassan Rohani said on October 13. Rohani was responding to U.S. President Donald Trump's speech in which he said he would not continue to certify, and might eventually cancel, the 2015 agreement aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
